      Privately held Not much bureaucracy Strong benefits Extra perks - parties, breakfast,etc (except in crisis times) Good commute for Jersey residents Potentially a way to get into a hedge fund eventually Middle office roles less stressful and fewer hours than comparable roles at banks

      Cons

      Very limited upside career potential in-house Located in Jersey City Product exposure a mile wide and an inch deep Relatively low level of product and market knowledge among employees considering the business they are in

      Pros

      Its best to work here for a few years and gain experience elsewhere.

      Cons

      Company went from 2 days on-site to now 3 days on-site, i dont mind it but this company has low morale and all the employees are sick of this place now. If you want a high salary but no opportunity to advance this is the place for you. 80% of the company is senior level and no room for growth or promotional opportunities.
