Pros

hone your customer service skills, learn what you don't want in your next job. The work life balance is pretty good with this company. It is a great job for university students but there is a quick burnout factor for those employees looking to make this a career.

Cons

lack of support, countiuous layoffs, shut downs every few years, low pay, poor management, disgruntled employees, lack of consistency, low employee morale. All of the good managers seem to move on faily quickly and the ones that you would like to see move on seem to stay around forever. They do not seem to have much of a development plan in place for growing their mangers skills.

Pros

Hybrid schedule, supportive managers, opportunities

Cons

Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
