      Pros

      large company, easy to slack off and no one will find out

      Cons

      on fi trading floor, very much an 'old boy network. you scratch my back, i scratch your back. ppl who were involved in the subprime/cdo crisis were not laid off. no one from in-business or independent risk was really touched. that just means that these are fluff jobs with no real power or oversight.

      Pretty decent benefits , but your exp is based on your team, and the lunch is pretty good

      Cons

      workload is pretty intense and with ai expect development to be rapid.

      Great benefits (PTO, healthcare, etc.) for FTEs

      Cons

      Everything else - Carousel of management changes - Vague and ever-changing role/job descriptions and associated metrics - The constant feeling that we're all about to be laid off but must "prove" our value in the meantime
