Pros
You name it, you can do it as a career, within the vast company. There is a true sense of value of all staff, and generally, management are supportive
Cons
Finance is fickle, and the market changes frequently. The blinkered need to achieve a (say) 10% cut again... coupled with frustrating bureaucracy... can make it hard work to simply raise a purchase order!
