Pros

You will be fine if you are white or black or a top caste Indian

Cons

You will be shocked to see how many Indian managers belong to top two caste communities. My guess is at least 95%. Prepare to face racism, discrimination based on the language you speak, regional favoritism and even the type food you eat. At least 80% of internal HR job postings are fake. They are posting to cover their axsxs if labor department or immigration team audits them. Most of them are fake positions and they are targeted to hire unqualified H1B visa candidates with fake experiences and mostly have fake college degrees. It's so bad. Many tech managers are compromised and some even take unaccounted gifts/cash in several forms and there is a rumor that many of them take cash (sometimes overseas like India) to evade taxes and many managers have shell companies or through friend's consulting firms. Virtusa, Wipro, l&t, TCS etc.. rule Citi. These consulting firms mint money on dummy resources and fake projects. It's so so bad!

Pros

Hybrid schedule, supportive managers, opportunities

Cons

Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
