Pros

it's pay better than other competitior (banks) in the same position as personal banker. such as bank of america, wahington mutual, wells fargo bank. The base salary is almost the same, starting out 40k dollars. but then the commission is monthly. which give an opportunity for personal banker to get pay every month.

Cons

The managers and co-workers at some location are very up-tight, not very helpful for new employees. The training provide by the company isn't that great, but able to survivie. On the job support from management is ZERO. The managers will yell at you if you make a mistake, don't let you go to lunch, break.

Pros

Hybrid schedule, supportive managers, opportunities

Cons

Once you’re in, comp basically plateaus. Layoffs are happening across the board, which tends to be the full-time culture of citi. The vibe is very much “run lean” until something actually breaks, and only then consider adding headcount. You have to be intentional about protecting your work-life balance, because the implicit expectation is that you’re always on—24/7, 365—without the support of a properly staffed team.
