The retail staffs I worked with were good, honest people. I think John and Frank have the right intentions, but they need to clean up the mess.
Cons
Too many to name. Do not trust management, especially the Regional Manager. They will recruit you by stating there is a territory and a book of business that will be yours to work. Do not expect much of a book of business to be reassigned to you and you might end up in one branch and no book of business. Get everything in writing from management, never trust their verbal agreements. If you do have a legitimate issue, management will ignore your calls and emails. Management will tell you they want you doing managed money, but they really want the annuity business. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Expect a revolving door of direct managers. The 401k plan is a joke. If you do get a book, you will not receive all of the trailing revenue.
