Pros
It is a job close to home and I love talking to the customers and helping them in any way I can.
Cons
The bank only looks at the number of sales get can get from the customer. They say they say the customer is the number one priority. I tend to not agree with that. All they look at is how many accounts you get and how many products you can cross sell to the customer in front of you. Yes banks do need new customers but it can go to extreme. Every time a customer comes to the bank to make a deposit etc., they don't want to hear Hello Mrs. Smith we have a new credit card offer or I see you don't have a savings with us, would you like to open one today. The customers likes the personal touch of being greeted wit h Good Morning Mrs. Smith and how are you today. Offering and telling them about a new product they may be interested is okay but you got to make them feel than they are a sales point.
