Pros
I got along well with most of my colleagues, fantastic PTO time, later start than most (in store branch), branch manager VERY fair about time off/days needed off.
Cons
Seriously unrealistic expectations. Silly nonsense focuses on certain petty aspects of the job depending what the "flavor of the week" was (i.e. loan surveys, scout cart activities, aisle leads...). A heightened sense of random pressure directly from the regional manager that trickled down hard onto the branch manager then on to bankers. Things were seriously unpredictable. Pay is not good for the hours worked (instore branch). I got a stern "talking to" when I traded a non customer grocery shopper a roll of quarters for a $10 bill without scoring a checking account, savings account, and/or credit card from them. Apparently I couldn't do a thing for someone who didn't bank with us, so that's why I got reprimanded...and that's just plain crazy.
