Pros
Good benefits, growing company - that's about all.
Cons
Management will tell you anything to get you in the door, then never deliver. Senior managers are not up front and honest with staff, always behind-the-scenes hidden agendas. Different people get paid more to do the same job, regardless of experience, simply based on how much the senior managers like them or the past relationship you have with them outside of work. Seniority and experience with only get you lower pay and NO opportunity to advance. Management LOVES rats, "tattle tales", and two faced snakes - these people will get promoted. Team players, people who push to improve procedures and fix problems are seen as a threat instead of an asset. Systems and procedures are archaic, and they are not a very progressive company, despite their success. The company tends to accommodate problems rather than find and implement effective solutions. Input from staff is never heard - if ideas don't come from the top they are not worth the time of day. There is practically no employee handbook so the rules are vague and often made up as they go. Workplace safety is a joke, and it's surprising no one has been killed in a warehouse or store yet. There is little concern for the quality of work from employees in the distribution centers, and NO concern for the quality of the items they import - as long as the stuff is CHEAP, it's doesn't matter if it's safe or functional. Website reviews are fake. Interns are paid to post bogus reviews on products that are absolute garbage - NO INTEGRITY! Unless you're happy answering phones or being a cashier forever, go elsewhere with your job search.
