Pros
- Name recognition is probably the best thing about working for Clark. If you can survive them you can survive anywhere. - Clark prides themselves on “Experience” which is true. But this a result of being overworked on a regular basis - Pay is competitive for the 1st year but quickly gets outweighed by hours worked. 50+ hr/wk is expected without Overtime and Saturdays, about once a month, are also an expectation
Cons
- Career development is tough, just performing your job will get you inherit experience but training for your role doesn’t exist nor does any mentorship programs. - There is a huge gap in management experience. A ton of 0-2 year and a ton of 10-15 year, but not a lot in the middle. - A lot will be said of “Culture” by Clark, but most project teams don’t activity cultivate it so most conversations day-to-day amount of small talk. Even major events like, Engagement, Marriage, Children, etc. go unmentioned. - Their Sick Leave/Vacation system is totally out of date. Even working the expected 50+ hours and 5-6 days/wk you’ll routinely find yourself without enough Vacation to take any impactful time off.
