Pros
A well respected company that builds the hospitals, roads, schools, and other structures we all use/enjoy. Good health benefits and company 401(k) contribution. Most people are enjoyable to work with. Industry will have business for years to come (IIJA).
Cons
Senior management is almost all older white men with a few women and POC. This lack of diversity in management has allowed for the "traditional" office culture of yesteryear. While WFH is "allowed," the culture is not accepting. Constant pressure from management and coworkers to be in the office, at your desk, from 9-5, five days a week. Pay is certainly under market value, especially for the DMV area they are headquartered in. Promotion is not merit-based, but achieved with the passage of time.
