Pros

They have a partnership with a Master's program so you can work as you get your master's degree. Kids are amazing. Competitive pay.

Cons

Most employees seem to be very burnt out, which becomes contagious after a while. There is Professional development once a month and it consists of a bunch of sessions led by the instructional coaches. It is not a productive use of time, given the amount of work there is outside of PD. The PD sessions also become repetitive after awhile. It would be more productive to have work time, instead of PD. The hours are long: 7:30-4:45. Lots of testing. This is normal for a charter school, but after a few months, the kids and teachers are burnt out. During Specials (gym, music, dance, art), students who are academically struggling have "Intervention", SETTS, or At-Risk Literacy instruction so they can't go to Specials with their classmates. Kids get upset about this, understandably.
