Pros

Free out of state training. Free First Aid/CPR Training. Free phone service.

Cons

10min lunch break for working 12hours in a tyvek chemical suit. Terrible Co-workers. Dishonest Bosses(Example: was told minimum wage was $13/hr and found out a week later it is actually $15/hr for first response, also everyone was supposed to get an iPhone so everyone could use the clean harbors applications and also be able to clock in and out of work using their phone, instead I ended up with a flip phone because it sounded good to the boss and he didn't want to spend money on me for no reason). 6 day work week because the bosses say so(even though it's supposed to be 5 day work weeks), 12 hour days, 10min lunch every 12 hours worked, no health benefits unless you pay the expensive fee. No time for family.

Pros

Plenty of hours between 75 to 80 hours a week minimum. Good place to get experience as a stepping stone.

Cons

You're always on call it is mandatory that you work three weekends a month both Saturday and Sunday including the 5-day work weeks Monday through Friday Technician. As a coordinator you work 6 day work weeks Sunday through Friday you only get Saturdays off it's a salary based position so you get no compensation if you work over 8 hours a day as a coordinator and you will work more than 8 hours a day your minimum will be 12 to 14 hours a day up to a maximum of 18 hours a day regularly.
