Pros
Local office team has each other's back.
Cons
Terrible benefits, 401k is a joke. Health insurance is expensive and junk. Commission plan is also terrible, goals are unrealistic and unobtainable. Commission doesn't even pay out until you get to 70% of your goal, which wouldn't be bad if they weren't impossible, and you have about 5 different buckets you have to hit. Company vehicle is terrible. All the ones I've seen are these rusted up vans with over 200k miles and rusted roof about to fall through. Zero perks that come with a regular outside sales job. Things like president club trips, company expense card. Plan on being at the office anytime you have computer work. Doesn't seem like they trust you to do it at home. You have to check in at 7am and check out at the end of the day. Not sure why, it takes two hours out of your already busy day. If you're an experienced sales professional, keep looking for another company. You'll get the respect you deserve, your perks, and won't be humiliated by driving around a terrible looking van that your customers make fun of.
