Most people in leadership had this fake niceness to them to stay in the directive of an "Only Positive" environment. Mostly promoted friends of friends in the department, they would ask you to go for an opening and later on find out that they already had someone in mind for the role and feel like an interview was a waste of time. Hardly any support was provided, mostly it was winging it and training was non-existent. Very clicky place to work, if the boss liked you, then everyone liked you and vice versa. Instead of efficiency to address workloads, they just demanded everyone work as much OT as they could. No life-work balance.
