Challenging environment to work in. Mining is difficult, yet rewarding if you can get past the nonsense.
Cons
No discipline for employees. Labor union runs the facility. No assistance from senior management with operational or personnel troubles. Look the other way or face consequences in every way imaginable - by managers at all levels, by work force due to union and within the community.
