Pros
Learning environment that encourages academic excellence with academic or continuing education credit toward improving oneself. Investment matching and annual review protocols that increase skills and responsibilities progressively. Diversity that takes learning to levels private universities cannot claim as well, bringing more in the way of global perspective. Plenty of things to eat nearby and within this university that takes up 1/6 of the city of Cleveland (so it has it own police station).
Cons
Parking for employees costs far more than it did while working at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. It didn’t cost anything to park at the West Center Campus, where I worked for the first year and a half. I am grateful to Dr. Goodell for having chosen to keep me working at CSU for another eighteen months.
