Pros
-Flexible -Friendly co-workers. Staff and faculty are very kind. -Students are hard-working; not always to best students as many have a job or two even. But, they follow directions well and try hard. -Good resources--library, ILL, and lab resources are good
Cons
-Typical academic job-downsides: publish or perish, little care for teaching quality/service, etc. Administration claims to value teaching, but doesn't really. -University is uncertain if it wants to be a teaching-institution or research-institution
