      Pros

      Work hour availability. Lots of coworkers to get to know (and that are friendly). The supervisor will listen to you. Simple duties. You have access to a computer for the entire shift.

      Cons

      Most labs close after (or when) the dining hall does. Once the schedule is finalized and full, it’s difficult to get different hours. Labs open from 7:30-8:00 am. Can’t listen to music or eat while on the job.

      Excellent! Supportive work environment and flexible schedule. I had the opportunity to strengthen my communication and teaching skills while working with faculty and students.

      Cons

      As a student employee, opportunities for advancement can be somewhat limited after graduation.
