I've enjoyed my time at ClickHouse because of the people and the flexibility. It's exciting to work for a company that's growing quickly and building a product people genuinely love. The team is full of smart, motivated people, and I've had opportunities to take on projects outside my role that have helped me grow.
Being remote-first has been great for work-life balance, and one of my favorite perks is that the company brings everyone together in person twice a year. It's a great way to connect with teammates and feel invested in what we're building together.
Cons
ClickHouse is a fast-growing company, which brings the usual challenges of shifting priorities and occasional periods of increased workload. Collaborating across multiple time zones can sometimes make it harder to fully disconnect, so maintaining work-life balance requires being intentional about boundaries. I'd also love to see the company introduce a 401(k) match in the future.
