Pros

This company is made up of highly intelligent, genuinely nice people who are eager to work in the exciting conversational AI space.

Cons

The co-founders created a toxic culture that is running Clinc into the ground. On several occasions, one of the co-founders has exhibited belligerent behavior at company-outings often times resulting in unwanted sexual comments to fellow employees. He suggests employees socialize outside of work so he can connect with them better, which isolates many of the women working at Clinc. Many women in leadership roles have left within the past year. Overall, the environment is not conducive to women. Another co-founder degrades employees openly in meetings speaking to their lack of performance or intelligence, most often when the employee on topic is not present. The treatment of several employees has been verbally abusive, demeaning, and highly manipulative. Fellow employees warn against scheduling meeting with the two married co-founders because it will derail meetings and triggers arguments. The lack of company vision and direction is hindering the success of the company as whole. Direction is often given with vague details, impossible deadlines and unclear goals impacting performance and morale company wide. The founders lack of managerial experience, unprofessional behavior, combined with their massive egos are deterring much needed senior leadership. A majority of the company is junior and their feedback is continuously brushed off or put down by the leadership and told they "can't do anything to change it." Past employees are slandered publicly as weak or incapable, but for leaving this toxic environment are much better off.
