      Pros

      Being a design consultant has many benefits. I mostly work my own hours, and get the freedom to design a unit as I see fit - there are no rules! There's also tons of training that's constantly updated, so it shows you the company cares.

      Cons

      You are working on your own, so if you get lonely easily, it can be tough. Luckily, however, management is friendly and accommodating.
