Pros
They promote from within. At least 3 of my current managers started as servers or cooks. One who was just promoted only started at the restaurant within the last year. We all thought he deserved it. You can transfer to other locations. Great coworkers.
Cons
My location has a lot of construction going on so it’s very slow. We rely on tips so of course that can be bad occasionally but, we often get screwed because large, needy parties don’t tip and then they’ve ruined our other tables tips because we kept having to focus on them the entire time.
