Pros

Good benefits Good sick pay No real targets - good for a call centre job Free drinks machine Employee bonus incentive (although this got worse before I left) No dress code Lots of charity work Would recommend if you are okay with working in a call centre and all that entails.

Cons

No career progression Managers hit and miss, some are great and really helpful, others completely useless Computer systems slow and old - would crash/not process a change which would annoy customers but nothing you could do about it Have to work one full weekend in 4 and 2 Saturdays a month

Thankyou for your review. It's lovely to hear you enjoyed your role at our Co-op and would recommend to others. I'm sorry to hear you didn't think there was any progression within your team and hope you raised your concerns with your manager at the time so you could both work on a development plan for you. ^Catherine

Pros

Team got on well, hours weren't particularly harsh (pay not particularly impressive either)

Cons

Overworked due to corporate ruthlessly cutting hours (while hiring more staff?), generally piling on more and more work to the store team without considering time constraints, absolutely no opportunity for advancement while a store manager is already there
