      Worst company I've worked for. - Customer Team Member Co-op Employee Review

      Pros

      Other staff members make the job bearable. Other than that, none!

      Cons

      Long hours. Expected to cover shifts at short notice. Frequently put on illegal shifts finishing at 10pm and starting at 6am the next morning. Staff discount is pretty rubbish. Management are generally terrible and the company doesn't seem to care about the staff. No progression unless your face fits with management. Minimum wage and expected to do A LOT for that.

      Thankyou for your review. I'm concerned to hear about your experiences while work for our Co-op because no one should be working illegal shift patterns. I hope that you raised this with your manager or the HR team at the time so that this could be looked into and rectified. I'm also sorry to hear you didn't enjoy working alongside your manager and felt that there were no options for progression for you, again if you spoke to HR or your area manger about your concerns this could have been looked into. I wish you well with the rest of your career. ^Catherine

      Pros

      Team got on well, hours weren't particularly harsh (pay not particularly impressive either)

      Cons

      Overworked due to corporate ruthlessly cutting hours (while hiring more staff?), generally piling on more and more work to the store team without considering time constraints, absolutely no opportunity for advancement while a store manager is already there
