Pros

I would say Cobank offers decent benefits as a whole. Compared to if you are coming from other industries outside of banking. There is a possible bonus component paid out the following year around March tied to your position. I have gotten one every year so far and it makes that month quite nice in addition to the regular paychecks. 401k up to 9% match On Site Cafe (Cheaper Quality Meals around $5) Free Fountain Soda while Cafe is open Free Parking on Site Hybrid Work Environment-Team Dependent Tuition Reimbursement up to 10K yearly

Cons

Competitive for advancement to other teams or departments. Would say the bank is more top heavy managers, vice presidents, supervisors compared to more middle tier or lower positions. Learning how the farm credit system works can be a bit of a learning curve and take some time.

Pros

Financially speaking CoBank is a stable company. The yearly bonus payout is competitive,

Cons

It's referred to as "CoBank nice" which is another way of saying it's a passive-aggressive culture. If you dislike endless meetings, this environment can be frustrating. Strong resistance to change at the leadership levels - despite claims of being focused on transformation, real progress is very limited. Extremely slow pace. Recent months have brought significant organizational and leadership changes, but very little acknowledgement about the impact those changes have on associates. PTO is definitely not competitive.
