Pros
In my past job, I felt like a cog. The outcome of the work was what I created, not the results the actual work produced. CoSchedule is the complete opposite. It's data-driven, it's meaningful, it's helpful, and it's a ton of fun. The work itself is one of the most rewarding things I've ever had the chance to experience. And the team is amazing. When you're around tons of talented and ambitious people, it makes you want to deliver the best every day (because that's what you know they do, too). Not only that, we're all friends, too. We grab tacos + beers at Dempsey's on Wednesdays, hang out on the softball team (go Calendars!) on Thursdays, and see each other on the weekends all the time. I've been really thankful to have become close friends with coworkers, which I've never had that kind of opportunity before. CoSchedule is a lot more than a 9-5. It's meaningful, even beyond the work. They've given me a lot of opportunities to grow, and I'll always appreciate that. Anyway. I love what I do, and I get to do it everyday. That's pretty amazing.
Cons
It's sad when you miss the Bratwurst Blowout or Christmas party. :/
