Glorified call centre job with a month of training in Virginia. While you're there, you are held to American standards even though standards in Canada are different - impractical training because resources are different in the States than Canada, the American trainers aren't trained on Canadian standards/circumstances/CRE culture. Canadian research portfolios can't compete with metrics that can be achieved with American portfolios given CoStar's recent appear on the Canadian market, BUT you are still expected to perform like an American researcher. Training only cares about quantity over quality, and puts you on the phone with little walk through of the process and absolutely no regard for your comfort. Trainers were condescending and CoStar is serious when they say competitive workplace - you are instantly pinned against coworkers from the second you are put on the phone, and you are expected to be a calling machine. Personhood is unaccounted for in this work place.
