Pros

- benefits - fun co workers who actually have personality - managers are cool when not under intense pressure - bonuses are cool - happy hours (cocktail mixers) - parties - free food - pay

Cons

- lack of communication - no work-life balance Honestly, they are fear mongers. They definitely don’t make you feel secure in your position. It’s so much unprofessionalism. Managers trying to have…. inappropriate relations with other managers or their staff. A manager told me it was okay to cheat on my husband. She showed up to our co-worker bonding events getting super drunk and being obnoxious. That was the first time I witnessed unprofessionalism. She also took me in the breastfeeding room to yell at me, cuss me out and scold me because I was sick and needed to go to the hospital/home. I guess she wanted to avoid the cameras. The hours are insane. You would start your shift with the morning sun and end with the moon. There aren’t many hours of PTO. They switched the policy of requesting PTO as well which made things SO much more complicated. Management talks to you like you’re crazy when they are under pressure. You can definitely tell they don’t care about your personal life. I told my manager I had a death in my family and the reply was “Mmhm, oh okay” WHAAAAT. They only care about metrics and whatever the heck else. ALSO the CEO is super cringe. He sent out a lot of emails during COVID forcing his vaccine beliefs on us, offering LARGE sums of money (10K) during raffles only for people who chose to be vaccinated and come back to office. Then they gave out food every day and about 1- 2K in amazon gifts every day to vaccinated staff while those who chose different for their lives were forced to read the pushy emails. Unvaxxed were also forced to attend a 3-hr zoom call with a panel who were all biased and provided only a pro-vaccine standpoint to push the CEO’s vaccine agenda. HOW UNETHICAL. You could tell they were getting ready to push people out because they started hiring vaxxed new people to our department/team. HAD to go and so glad I’ve done better. Protect your mental health. I was sick of management telling me to “push through my pain” when I knew I needed to go to the hospital as well, that right there made me cry all night.

Pros

This company makes a strong first impression during the interview and training process. Unfortunately, my experience after onboarding was very different. Decision-making is highly centralized, leaving employees with very little autonomy. The company emphasizes ethics and integrity, but my experience did not consistently reflect those values. Favoritism also appeared to play a significant role in how employees were treated and how decisions were made. HR presents itself as a resource for employees, but concerns often end with, “It will be up to your manager.” That can be frustrating when the issue involves your manager or requires an impartial review. CoStar has developed a reputation for these issues, and from what I experienced, it wasn’t always this way. A few years ago, the company at least appeared to prioritize its employees. Today, that commitment feels diminished. The return-to-office expectations can also be unreasonable. During severe weather, employees are still expected to report to the office even when many other companies in the area allow employees to work remotely for safety. Finally, performance expectations and metrics are frequently changed, making goals increasingly difficult to achieve. Combined with inconsistent communication from leadership, it creates an environment where employees often feel unsupported and uncertain about expectations.

Cons

Good Health Benefits for families and singles Decent pay
