Company was originally named II-VI. Bought out their competitor, Coherent. They took out a loan to do this with interest they can barely pay every quarter. Because of these decisions, employees suffer. No merit raises for 2 years No promotions Compensation at the lower end of bell curve, bottom 20% 12% of your compensation is in bonuses, company did not meet expectations so you only got a fraction of your bonus for 2 years They expect candidates to go through a 6 hour interview process with a presentation, panel and 1 on 1s only to send offers below market value, a lot of candidates reject offers which wastes candidates time and companies time Low company moral
