The community that exists in the lab as a whole speaks to the passion everyone involved shares for the sciences. It is an experience that cannot be described or emulated in any university nor corporate arena.
Cons
One must be sure of themselves and their interests if they wish to thrive in this endeavor. There is no place for those who may use this as an opportunity to "test the waters" or those who are unable to make the appropriate commitment.
