Pros

The company has a great environment for learning and growth, with a team composed of talented individuals. Nevertheless, it appears that career advancement is heavily influenced by one's ability to navigate office politics and manage relationships with superiors. I've observed that some colleagues have successfully balanced dual roles as contractors without issue, provided they maintained a low profile and met expectations.

Cons

Leaders often kick off every 3-month release cycle by identifying potential issues, only to then swoop in and 'rescue' the project, garnering recognition and accolades for their heroics in a repetitive 'Superman effect.' This cycle of flagging problems and then resolving them just in time can be demotivating for talented individuals who feel undervalued and unempowered. To make matters worse, people are sometimes shuffled around to different teams, seemingly to keep them from gaining too much influence or continuity, further exacerbating the sense of disempowerment and frustration that drives talented people to seek opportunities elsewhere
