Pros
-Good training, and will set you up for a better position somewhere else -Travel perks and time off benefits -Pretty good team atmosphere even though everyone is spread out through the country. Majority of reps are great people! -Good money as long as people are traveling
Cons
-Micromanaging at all levels -Often angry boss -Nothing is ever good enough, even when you are a top rep -Very white, and not a diverse as a company (they do recognize this and want to change) -Salary is very low compared to industry average -Expected to work minimum 4 appointments a day, equaling often 12 hour+ days (On the road at 8am start, home by 8pm or later is normal) -Must be available on weekends; not considered overtime by any means -No company car, and car stipend per month is very low. Risky. -Company has been around for over 100 years and often feels like it's stuck in the past, not catching up with the present or having the funds to invest in the future of business -No Salesforce or decent CRM to help you as a rep -Always being compared to a top rep who runs things in an insane way, and everyone is supposed to be molded to do things his way or you're wrong.
