Pros

Social and fun environment - many outgoing and friendly individuals Nice office Opportunity to advance your career (mostly if you are in sales)

Cons

Poor management Agents who have direct support are not given any management training. Support staff end up with “manager” (the agent) who is a sales guy and not someone who truly cares about the person working for them. Many are very disrespectful and if they are a top performer, management will not do anything to change how they treat people. Agents pay the salary directly for the support staff who work for them and therefore they have all the control in every second of your day. Colliers will boast that it is a great culture, opportunity to learn and grow - but if you work for someone whose only priority is to make money for themselves - you will never actually participate in those activities or have the flexibility to appreciate the culture.
