Long hours, low pay - Analyst Colliers Employee Review

Pros

Good culture, freedom, good coworkers.

Cons

They pay analysts at the bottom tier of the market, don’t except a high raise and ability to move up the ladder. You are just support to the sales agents, who make the real money. The hours are just as long as a sales role, if not longer sometimes, and they will not pay you accordingly. Only good for an entry level role if you are part of the analytics team, because you can’t move up, extremely slim chance of promotion or raise. Great if you are sales, anything else, stay away. No real training program to teach the basic analytical skills to look at deals.

Pros

-the people -mostly easy-going -not a hard job -good actually entry level job -people are almost always willing to teach you something you are not sure about

Cons

-Schedule rigidity -almost no say in where or when you work (even though the company preaches this as one of its values) -the pay (didn't get a raise for the first 2 years I worked there and they were small rasises. Then told I was not being promoted after waiting 3 years for the promotion I was promised) -the favoraitism by management -the work is either a 100% or nothing to do -in office days tend to be highly stressful
