Pros

Fast response when it comes to IT, payroll, or benefits questions. Efficient email communications systems in place, processes relatively streamlined, many resources to utilize.

Cons

No real "perks" to speak of. Generic corporate culture. If you're not a broker, be prepared to feel a bit isolated and dejected. Disrespectful to admin. Stubborn and condescending brokers. Inflexible time off (especially if you work under a broker). Be prepared to talk about money, golf, and sports and not much else. Lack of culture or human connection. People could care less about what you unless if you're bringing in the big bucks.

Pros

-the people -mostly easy-going -not a hard job -good actually entry level job -people are almost always willing to teach you something you are not sure about

Cons

-Schedule rigidity -almost no say in where or when you work (even though the company preaches this as one of its values) -the pay (didn't get a raise for the first 2 years I worked there and they were small rasises. Then told I was not being promoted after waiting 3 years for the promotion I was promised) -the favoraitism by management -the work is either a 100% or nothing to do -in office days tend to be highly stressful
