Pros
1. Decent campus culture 2. Holidays and spirit days 3. Benefits are good 4. Growing district 5. Free parking (seriously). Most universities force their employees pay for parking throughout the year.
Cons
1. Lack of upward mobility especially as a part time employee. Management seems to provide promotions to people they "like" or externals rather than well qualified internal candidates. 2. Lack of transparency and communications between employees, leadership, and throughout the district. 3. "Student first" policy is making students feel entitled and emboldened rather than responsible adults. 4. Little professional development programs or training: not referring to mandatory training sessions. 5. Management doesn't take interest or take the initiative to understand the basic functions. They can spend years in a leadership role, and still not know or even care.
