Best of the worst. Education field is pretty bleak as a whole - Academic Advisor Collin College Employee Review

Very incompetent upper level leadership. They’ve hired over qualified/intelligent people in entry level and middle management roles but don’t let’s them take initiative and provide them autonomy to work to the best of their ability. So the staff is very burnt out and don’t feel heard at all. I’d recommend Collin to someone starting their career in education but not to someone looking to grow within a company. Sadly, this is the state of most of higher education and Collin is the best of the worst.
