Pros

Great individuals to work with (before people started leaving) Above average benefits for the area against regional companies, sub par for other international companies You'll overwork your technical level to get experience and exposure to higher work than you might.

Cons

Having done post graduate degrees, the work environment is more intense than a full time course with longer hours Non-existent work life balance Significantly below market pay Bad leadership communication of changes and direction Constant overwork Constant rework Meetings are the only way work seems to get done Everyone's calendar is always full Very few things are operationalized, it's almost all break/fix work Global work means starting at 5 or 6 in the morning and staying on past 6 or 7 in the evening Teams are too lean for a global company before people started leaving To complete work requires 50+ hours per week, some teams are over 70 for extended periods just to keep the lights on Lack of any communication about managers and above leaving from the company Multiple people going on stress LOA for extended periods Expectation that the same amount of work gets done with significantly fewer teammates at the same quality

Pros

Good work-life balance and benefits.

Cons

What was once a pro for culture has now become a con. Uncertainty due to massive layoffs. Remote work has been largely eliminated, and thus flexibility has decreased signficantly. Offshore and AI initiatives to reduce local US workforce. Although collaboration is encouraged, departments are siloed and operate independently which causes significant inefficiencies costing the company millions of dollars. Diversity is also lacking in a number of departments. Over reliance on external consultants instead of leveraging internal expertise.
