Pros

Better starting pay than most retailers in South Florida

Cons

No hours ( I've gotten 40 hours in a week maybe 3 times since Black Friday last year) Inconsistent scheduling Understaffed Poor management Small annual raise - no opportunities for a raise any other time Biased hiring for management staff Little-to-no upward mobility Over-working employees Poor communication Policy changes with little notice, if any at all Technical issues go unsolved for years No incentive to drive sales because one bad day will be used to justify weeks of low hours, but entire weeks in the green wont lead to staff getting more hours. Staff rewards for hitting 5 million dollars in sales are snacks for a box of cookies. Serious problems or safety violations go far too long without being addressed by store management at this one location alone

Pros

Good work-life balance and benefits.

Cons

What was once a pro for culture has now become a con. Uncertainty due to massive layoffs. Remote work has been largely eliminated, and thus flexibility has decreased signficantly. Offshore and AI initiatives to reduce local US workforce. Although collaboration is encouraged, departments are siloed and operate independently which causes significant inefficiencies costing the company millions of dollars. Diversity is also lacking in a number of departments. Over reliance on external consultants instead of leveraging internal expertise.
