Pros

As both an employee and a team leader, what I value most about working at ComPsych is the genuine support I receive from leadership and colleagues. Our senior staff has a real talent for recognizing individual strengths and creating opportunities for growth, and I’ve personally benefited from that. In my role as a counselor, I truly enjoyed the work I was doing and appreciated being invited to participate in special projects that allowed me to stretch my skills and contribute in new ways. Those experiences were incredibly fulfilling and helped me grow both professionally and personally. I also appreciate the way leadership embraces different personalities and work styles. Feeling seen and supported in that way has made a meaningful difference in my experience here. Being offered a promotion into a leadership position—without actively seeking it—was especially validating. It reinforced my belief that ComPsych is intentional about recognizing and developing its employees.

Cons

One area we continue to improve is streamlining administrative processes. While it isn’t a major drawback, I’m encouraged by the work already underway to reduce administrative tasks so counselors can stay focused on clinical care and maintain a high quality of support for our clients.

Very stable employer with many opportunities for learning and growth. Ability to work fully-remote and employer provides the necessary technology for you. Full benefits and perks provided at service anniversaries.

Cons

Like most employer now PTO is limited to start, but is more generous later.

Pros

I have spent many years in many different organizations. I can honestly say that I feel more at home at Compsych than anywhere else in my career. The work brings me into contact with peers who are extremely helpful and kind. Upper levels of management are approachable and interested in suggestions and the success of the employees. I am very happy to be spending my years before retirement in such an environment.

Cons

Contact with the public, of course, has drawbacks. There can be people who are very, very difficult to deal with. I am trying to learn how to let it go and move on.
