Pros

Leadership is visible and interacts with all members of staff. The surgeons are generally respectful. The anesthesia staff is incredible to work with.

Cons

Communication is sometimes lacking. There are too many company emails to know what is important.

Pros

Great place to be involved in the community and get-to-know local docs. It's also a nice change of pace from regular ER life.

Cons

VERY high turn over. Poor incentives for pay and they require a binder/ladder for the RN to get a pay increase. The binder is a big ask for somebody who is busy at work and values their time off. Also, they are quick to fire people who have been working locally for years, including management. Sadly, the culture is also full of bullies and nurses who pick on each other/talk behind each other's backs. There is no real security and each nurse is asked to take on projects at the facility. Each season is full of new people and feels like a winter camp for adults. Drama, bad pay, and tight quarters = major discomfort majority of the time. Nobody knows how to communicate and be an adult. One p/t RN is the ring leader and she is mean.
