Pros

Paid on time with minimal errors.

Cons

-Perks cut to nothing over the years. -Mediocre benefits. -Feminized work environment. -Severely short staffed in IT. -Almost no advancement if you’re male. Worked here over 15 years and by the time I advanced enough to land a job in IT, I was so burned out I had to leave a year later. Passed over countless times for promotion, based mostly on gender. The Sisterhood is in full force here. Epic teams were severely short staffed. Had to front run projects, etc. to meet deadlines. Had double the number of owning areas than the vendor recommended, per analyst. Plus, I was providing Tier 2 support for an unrelated system. Totally ridiculous.

Pros

Good pay, decent management, flexible scheduling while in school and overall healthy work environment

Cons

There is no rotation for PRN staff to be put on call, meaning you will always be the first they put on. Additionally, if you're not used to working with 12+ patients at a time, this isn't the place for you as they like to load us up instead of bringing in more techs and nurses.
