Pros

The agency continues to improve their overall mission for it's employees and people that they serve. Great benefits, health insurance and 401K plan. Opportunity to attend trainings and better yourself as a professional.

Cons

Some miscommunication between co-workers and supervisors. Retention with staff seems high in some departments.

Pros

Management have always been open and honest with me, understood our departmental needs, and have fully supported us in the effort to equip staff with the digital tools they need to succeed in helping clients in the counties we serve. I have always been accepted and respected as a member of the staff, even though I am a contractor.

Cons

We do not get performance evaluations like employees, so it would be nice to know where we stand as an employee from year to year outside of just having our contract renewed. But I acknowledge that we are a special case due to being contractors.
