Pros

Good pay, good benefits, friendly colleagues

Cons

As a physician, it was clear network employees cared most about impressing leadership and getting ahead. Decisions were repeatedly made from a top down approach without any consideration for how it affected everyone. Leaders quit or were let go mid implementation. Quality of patient care suffered w push for bottom line. Examples include forcing primary doctors into a fixed panel salary. They claimed this was patient forward. Instead the network quietly shepherds care to specialists who are still rvu driven. It is a joke. This went well past the challenges healthcare is facing. What was worse, bad decisions leadership failed to acknowledge before were abruptly reversed. Middle management made most of the big decisions with physician leaders simply there as figureheads or communicators. The regional network leaders known as pmds and their diyad counterparts are unnecessary. They repeatedly made bad decisions or communicated bad ideas. The financial decisions and support for physicians were poorly implemented. The leadership structure is super bloated with redundant np/pa leaders w separate leadership hierarchy that is not needed. I Instead, problems were explained as frontline providers’ to fix or deal with and solutions from leadership were lacking or nonexistent but somehow massaged as excellent ideas. The real phsyician leadership is their community physician network board and they are an all white group that made all the important decisions.
