Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are committed to supporting our greatest asset, our employees. Compensation and benefit packages are examined annually to be competitive and fair. We are actively working on various initiatives, including the phased implementation of SB 525, which provided raises to our staff last year and will again deliver additional raises this summer. We encourage you to discuss your concerns with your leader about your position, the benefits available to you, and your potential for growth in our organization If you have any further feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Workforce Relations team (HREmployeeRelations@communitymedical.org). We value your input and are dedicated to making Community the employer of choice in the Central Valley.

Pros

Great learning opportunities. Overall friendly and supportive staff.

Cons

ED pushes patients to your floor in an unsafe manner. There’s no wait time in between patient transfers. You could get a patient, start your assessment and then get another one while still doing your assessment and have no clue if the new patient is bleeding out or unstable. Incredibly dangerous for the patient and the nurse. Not enough PCT’s. I feel stressed a lot at every shift. The computers are so slow and they log out of every session with tap out which is annoying cause you have to reopen epic every single time. The keyboard trays and monitor arms are all broke in the patient rooms. The discharge lounge is more work than actually discharging your patient yourself.
