Pros
Reconciliation section works great together. We ensure everyone's work is covered when they are out. Managers for the department are fair and don't try to hold anyone back from advancing. Company has free lunches and parties a few times a year. One CHS building has a cafeteria and another building has brings in different vendors throughout the M-F week. There's also quick snack area to buy at a kiosk. Holiday decoration contests, costume contests, chili cook off contests, etc. When I first started working, annual raises were 1%. It's gone up to 2% , and I did receive a 5% raise before. After 90 days, you're eligible for flex time. Meaning: As long as you clock in between 7-9:30, there isn't a penalty for being late. Most meetings will take place in the core hours of 9:30-3:30. Eligible for for quarterly bonuses if certain percentage is reached in earnings.
Cons
Open room design. Cubicle wall height is about 4 ft. Managers receive their own room, though. (Or that's a pro if you prefer that environment) In comparison, competitors pay higher. The computer system "Hyland" is horrible. Many many kinks that need to be worked out. A couple times a year, the system won't work and if it's down long enough then workers dependent on the system will be sent home.
