Pros
A few talented individuals who genuinely care about the work. Exposure to a fast-paced environment (if you’re early in your career and want to learn under pressure).
Cons
When I joined, I was told this was an “engineering-forward” company with a great culture and learning opportunities. But the reality was very different. This company has an extremely toxic work culture. You’re expected to work nonstop, late nights, on weekends, whatever it takes. “Speed above all” is their moto and quality takes a backseat which is especially concerning for a healthcare product. Saying “no” isn’t an option, even when it’s unreasonable. Mistakes are called out publicly and favoritism is rampant. Only the yes-mean or those who are liked personally get promoted, while the rest are constantly sidelined. Management is mostly very young and directionless, priorities change overnight, and you’re often told to drop what you’re doing to chase something new. The constant pressure, chaos, and lack of boundaries took a huge toll on my mental health. It’s a place that rewards burnout and ignores balance. It leaves you completely drained.
