8yOur support organization, which is among the mostly-highly regarded in the data protection industry space, is consistently above industry averages for customer satisfaction and in fairness, it’s important to note that Customer Support has a low manager to employee ratio.
As you know Commvault announced a worldwide cost-reduction effort, with actions underway to reduce, consolidate and align resources across all functional areas. Our Vaulters are at the heart of our business and as such also by far the biggest recurring investment we make every year. A decision to reduce our workforce is a difficult one and a measure we have only had to take twice in our 22 years history, but it was a necessary step to deliver the financial results expected from our shareholders and that we expect from ourselves.
